Non-Profit Organization

In 2010, we created Fondation Ti Ajoupa with the aim of bettering the lives of ordinary Haitians. Our main way of achieving this goal is through the strengthening of existing local and national organizations. Everyday, we tell ourselves that we don’t need to create new organizations if we can increase the capacity of existing institutions. To increase capacity, we believe that organizations have to achieve operational excellence; our work focuses on people, process and technology to ameliorate operational performance. We believe that more efficient organizations can decrease cost per individual served while ameliorating quality and service delivery.
Another way of achieving our goal is through the education and professional development for women. We dream of creating a space where young women and adults can create thriving ventures and better themselves. Access to technology and information plays a very important role in that quest.
Ti Ajoupa means ” little modest house” in Haitian creole. We are confident that we can help even the smallest local entities grow beyond expectations. We currently work with philanthropic, health, financial and agricultural institutions to ameliorate performance and better lives. We need help to reach more entities and grow our impact on the ground. The local organizations already contribute a lot to bettering lives; Ti Ajoupa wants to help them do more.
